"What's the hurry?" is a question posed to Mohsin Naqvi, who receives support in the Asia Cup row

Mohammad Yousuf, a former cricket player for Pakistan, has backed Mohsin Naqvi, the head of the ACC and PCB, in the ongoing Asia Cup trophy dispute. When Naqvi left the Indian team waiting for their winner's medals after the final and took the trophy, the argument heated up. Naqvi, the chairman of Pakistan's cricket board and a government official well-known for his vocal anti-Indian political views, refused to give the trophy to India on Sunday, hence India did not get it.

In a recent social media post, Naqvi stated that he was willing to give the trophy to India following the final. He also made it plain that he is prepared to do so at this time, provided that they visit the ACC office to pick it up. According to Yousuf, Naqvi made the correct choice in this case, and India ought to have collected the trophy from him following the presentation ceremony.

"Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman, is doing exactly what is right. He's made the right decision. At that point, India ought to have accepted the trophy. Yousuf stated on Samaa TV that the award should have only been given to him because he was standing there as the ACC chairman in accordance with ACC and ICC regulations.
