Former SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch and five others file a stock market "fraud" FIR with the Bombay High Court.
Madhabi Puri Buch, a former employee of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and five other people filed a motion in the Bombay high court on Monday in an attempt to overturn a recent special court ruling that directed a formal complaint against them for alleged stock market fraud.
According to news agency PTI, their pleas will be heard by the Bombay high court on March 4, 2025. Until then, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has been urged to refrain from acting under the special court order.
