Speaking at KPB Hinduja College's annual day event in south Mumbai, Dhankhar said that some American universities have endowments of billions of dollars. "Anyone leaving an academic institution in the West is obligated to contribute financially. His statement, "Quantum is never important," urged corporates to adopt that perspective.

He stated that the ideology of commodification and commercialization should not guide philanthropic endeavors, adding that "these are plaguing our healthcare and education (systems)." The vice president claimed that since education "brings about equality, cuts into inequalities," it is the most powerful transforming tool. He claimed that Sanatan has been a part of India's civilizational ethos and spirit, seemingly alluding to Sanatan Dharma.
