IIT Delhi inaugurates new lab to promote science of happiness

The Rekhi Mind Lab was launched by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in partnership with the Rekhi Foundation for Happiness as part of an effort to advance the science of happiness. According to IIT Delhi, this facility will be a cutting-edge area devoted to the study and creation of educational resources that support happiness and well-being as a skill inside the academic program.

The ceremony was held on March 20, International Happiness Day, and was attended by Dr. Satinder Singh Rekhi, founder of the Rekhi Foundation for Happiness, and Prof. Rangan Banerjee, director of the Institute. More than 500 staff members and students from IITD and other Delhi University campuses attended the event, according to the institute.

According to Prof. Banerjee, IIT Delhi is dedicated to expanding the frontiers of research and innovation. "Rekhi Mind Lab is a natural fit with our goal of using interdisciplinary techniques to solve real-world problems. In addition to helping IIT Delhi students, this project will set an example for other educational establishments nationwide.
