Kerala minister on "use of technology" to reduce working hours

Kerala minister P Rajeeve stated on Sunday that working fewer hours will result in more time spent on job when technology is used properly. By using technology, you may obtain more by working less, according to P Rajeeve, who was quoted by news agency PTI. "We are not modifying Kerala's current laws," he continued.
This coincides with efforts by the state's ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) government, which has been in office for almost nine years in a row, to promote Kerala as an investment destination. At the recently ended Investor Kerala Global Summit (IKGS) in Kochi, the state received expressions of interest for investments totaling approximately ₹1.53 lakh crore. The government had stated that there would be no more red tape and that processes had been streamlined.
By asserting that "Kerala contributes 24 per cent of the turnover of the medical devices industry in the country," P Rajeeve further disputed the stereotype that Kerala is unsuitable for industry and that it is also the site of strikes, militant trade unionism, and red tape.
