
Q3 GDP: India's economy grew by 6.2% in October-December

According to figures issued by the Statistics and Programme Implementation Ministry on Friday, India's nominal GDP is predicted to rise by 9.9 percent in FY2024–2025, while its real GDP is predicted to grow by 6.5%. In the meantime, nominal GDP is predicted to rise by 9.9 percent during the October–December 2024 quarter, while real GDP is predicted to grow by 6.2 percent.
As per the National Accounts release calendar, these estimates are published at both constant (2011–12) and current prices. Additionally, the press statement stated that the July-September quarter GDP growth estimates have been raised to 5.6%.
In contrast to the revised projection of ₹176.51 lakh crore for FY24, the Statistics and Programme Implementation Ministry projects that real GDP will reach ₹187.95 lakh crore in FY25.
