Regarding the firing of workers at its Mysuru facility, the IT behemoth Infosys has not broken any labor rules, the Karnataka labor department informed the state government in a report. A copy of the final report, which is expected to be delivered by March 4 or 5, will also be forwarded to the Union labor department.

This comes after a delegation from the labor department, led by additional labor commissioner (industrial relations) G Manjunath, visited the Infosys campuses in Mysuru and Bengaluru to assess the terminations on the directive of labor minister Santhosh Lad.
