Delhi Free Coaching JEE NEET Vidya Shakti Mission
In a landmark commitment to educational equity, the Delhi Government has launched the comprehensive Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidya Shakti Mission, an initiative providing free competitive coaching to 2,200 meritorious students from government schools. This move, announced by Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood, is backed by a substantial ₹21 crore budget and is designed to dismantle socio-economic barriers that often preclude talented students from accessing quality preparation for national-level entrance exams.
The Mission directly addresses the financial constraints faced by underprivileged students who aspire to crack the country’s toughest admission tests. The Delhi Free Coaching JEE NEET Vidya Shakti Mission covers preparation for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for engineering, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medicine, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), CA Foundation, and the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). Selection for this highly coveted opportunity was intensely competitive, with approximately 62,000 students appearing for the Common Entrance Test (CET-2025) held in October, reflecting the unprecedented aspiration level among the city’s youth.
