Ahead of NEET UG 2025 registrations, NTA asks candidates to update their Aadhaar details

The NTA will start the NEET UG 2025 registration process in due course of time. Read below why candidates have been asked to update their Aadhaar details.

The National Testing Agency, NTA, has asked candidates who seek to apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG 2025 to update their credentials in Aadhaar as per their 10 Marksheet/Passing Certificate. At the same time, candidates must also ensure that their Aadhaar is linked with a valid mobile number for OTP-based authentication.

The official notice by the NTA stated that the Aadhaar-based authentication of NEET UG 2025 candidates is necessary as per the instructions issued by Department of Higher Education under Ministry of Education that calls for ensuring integration of APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) with NEET UG 2025.
