According to the Bench, the NTF will draft a thorough study that identifies the main reasons why students commit suicide, analyzes current laws, and makes suggestions for protecting children from harm.

In response to the ongoing student suicides in higher education, the Supreme Court established a National Task Force (NTF) on Monday, March 24, 2025, to address student mental health issues and prevent such tragedies.
