Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan declared last year that he was retiring from filmmaking and that, although he would not be directing the movie, he will shortly announce Krrish 4.
Rakesh has now spoken out and acknowledged that it is time for him to "pass the baton" as rumors about Karan Malhotra directing the fourth movie of the popular franchise gather steam.
Rakesh was asked what he thought about someone else directing a franchise he created in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. "There must come a time when I must hand the baton over," he replied.
Therefore, it is preferable that I do it when I am conscious so that I can observe the procedure and determine whether or not he is performing it correctly. I won't know what they're preparing tomorrow if I'm not feeling well and have to pass it on.
