IndiGo has announced direct nonstop flights between Bengaluru and Riyadh starting November 16, 2025, expanding its Middle East network and easing travel between India’s technology hub and Saudi Arabia’s capital. The airline will operate the route five days a week on an Airbus A320, with flight 6E 0053 scheduled to depart Bengaluru at 22:05 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and flight 6E 0054 departing Riyadh at 02:00 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving Bengaluru in the morning.
The Bengaluru–Riyadh link makes Riyadh the second Saudi city directly connected with Bengaluru after Jeddah, joining IndiGo’s existing Riyadh services from Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. IndiGo said the addition strengthens connectivity for business travel, trade and the large expatriate workforce moving between India and the Middle East; Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s head of sales, described Riyadh as “a key hub for trade and investment” and said the service will enhance accessibility and support growing demand.
A five-times-weekly schedule balances demand and aircraft utilization while offering convenient late-night departures that suit overnight connections and business itineraries. Travel analysts expect the service to increase seat capacity on India–Saudi routes and add competitive pressure on fares during the winter travel season. Passengers are advised to verify visa requirements, baggage allowances and transit rules before booking.
