According to Russia's former president Medvedev, Ukrainian troops are nearly encircled in Kursk.

Dmitry Medvedev, the former president of Russia, stated on Sunday that Kyiv's troops were nearly surrounded by Russian forces that had recently advanced quickly on Ukraine in the Kursk region of western Russia.
"The lid of the smoking cauldron is almost closed," Medvedev stated in a Telegram post. The offensive is still going on.
Adding, "The offensive continues,"
Russian special forces have snuck miles through a gas pipeline close to the village of Sudzha as part of a massive push to drive Ukrainian military out of the Kursk region, according to Reuters, which cited pro-Russian war blogs.
