‘Leftist deep state weaponising justice system’, alleges Benjamin Netanyahu

According to The Times of Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu charged on Thursday that the "leftist Deep State" had "weaponized" the legal system against him. "The leftist Deep State uses the legal system as a weapon to subvert the will of the people when a powerful right-wing leader wins an election in both America and Israel. In either case, they won't prevail! "We stand strong together," Netanyahu said on his official account in English. Netanyahu posted something on X from his official prime minister account.
In less than an hour, though, the Israeli prime minister removed the tweet and re-posted it from his personnel account. After detaining and questioning two suspects in connection with a continuing investigation into whether thousands of dollars were transferred from Qatar to one or more of Netanyahu's aides, Netanyahu made his statement.
One of the suspects was returned home on Thursday morning under vague restrictions, according to the Times of Israel, which cited Hebrew Media, while the other is being questioned.
