Shubhanshu Shukla Returns: Family Celebrates SpaceX Dragon Splashdown

The family of Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla joyfully celebrated his safe return to Earth on Tuesday, 15 July 2025, after completing an 18-day mission aboard the International Space Station.

Shukla, a 39-year-old Indian Air Force officer and test pilot, returned aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft as part of the Axiom-4 mission—a commercial spaceflight operated by Axiom Space with support from ISRO and NASA. This marked his first journey into space.
