Weeks after the Bharatiya Janata Party deposed Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party from power, the court issued its ruling.
On Tuesday, the Rouse Avenue court in Delhi directed the authorities to file a formal complaint against Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, and other party officials for allegedly misusing public funds to erect sizable party hoardings in Dwarka in 2019. Neha Mittal, an assistant chief judicial magistrate, heard the case.
The court's ruling was issued weeks after the Bharatiya Janata Party overthrew Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party, which had ruled the nation's capital for more than a decade.
