Bulldozers action at Nagpur violence key accused Fahim Khan's house

Bulldozer action was taken Monday by the Municipal Corporation of Nagpur, Maharashtra, against one of the accused in the recent violence that broke out in the city after "rumours" circulated that a "chadar" with religious inscriptions had been set on fire during demonstrations organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) calling for the removal of Aurangzeb's tomb in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
A team from the Nagpur Municipal Corporation arrived at the home of Fahim Khan, a major suspect in the Nagpur unrest who has been charged with sedition, and used bulldozers to destroy an unauthorized building that he neglected to have taken down.
According to sources, Khan received a letter from the Nagpur Municipal Corporation a few days ago, pointing out a number of infractions and the absence of building plan clearance (for his residence). The house, which is situated in Sanjay Bagh Colony in Nagpur's Yashodhara Nagar neighborhood, is registered in the name of Fahim Khan's wife.
