Union minister Raksha Khadse filed a formal complaint on Sunday, claiming that a gang of men harassed her daughter and her friends during an event in the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis responded to the complaint by saying that the police had arrested some of the accused because they were members of a political party.
According to Khadse's accusation, the event happened on Friday night at the Sant Muktai Yatra in Kothali village in Muktainagar. "My daughter contacted to seek for permission to go while I was in Gujarat. I requested that she bring two or three staff members and a guard. Photographs and films of my daughter and her friends were taken, and they were pushed and followed. The guys turned to disorderly behavior when my staff objected, and a crowd of 30 to 40 people formed.
