"Halal budget, modern Muslim League budget": The Karnataka government's budget priorities are criticized by the BJP

Declaring the recently unveiled budget a "Halal Budget" and accusing it of prioritizing appeasement politics, the Karnataka BJP has harshly slammed the state administration led by the Congress.

"Karnataka presents a Halal Budget—appeasement at its peak!" the BJP stated on X. The party drew attention to clauses that mostly benefited Muslims and questioned why Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs) did not receive comparable funding.

"How do OBCs, SCs, and STs fare? "Absolutely nothing!" the BJP wrote on social media, accusing the Congress government of ignoring other communities and concentrating solely on the welfare of minorities.
