On Friday, the Karnataka Cabinet approved a change to the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurement (KTPP) Act that will provide Muslim contractors a 4% reservation in tenders.

Additionally, the Karnataka Gram Swaraj and Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Bill was approved by the Cabinet. According to the article, this bill aims to provide 'B' khatas to all unapproved rural properties, much like the practice already being used in urban areas.

It is anticipated that the bill will cover almost 90 lakh rural properties without khatas. The sources claim that the Cabinet deliberated on a plan to lease 4.24 acres of Agriculture Department land in Hebbal to the International Flower Auction Bangalore (IFAB) for two years at no cost.
