Karnataka DGP on stepdaughter Ranya Rao's arrest

The gold bars that were taken from Ranya Rao at Kempegowda International Airport were valued at ₹12.56 crore,
according to a statement released by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence on Wednesday.
Senior Karnataka police officer Ramachandra Rao expressed his shock and sadness when his daughter, actor Ranya Rao, was detained at Bengaluru airport on Monday with 14.8 kg of gold.
