The mother of Saurabh Rajput, who was murdered in Meerut, has demanded Prime Minister Narendra and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to conduct a comprehensive probe into her son's death and to execute them. On the evening of March 4, Saurabh Rajput was allegedly murdered by his wife Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla. After chopping up Rajput's body and concealing it in a drum filled with cement, the couple traveled to Himachal Pradesh.
Muskan had left her and Rajput's daughter, who was five years old, with her parents for this entire time. After her parents returned, Muskan confessed to the crime after they asked her where her husband had been. Muskan later notified the authorities about the crime when her father brought her to the station.
Rajput's mother, meanwhile, told news agency ANI that since their son was killed, they have not seen their granddaughter. Fearing for her safety, she insisted that they raise her.
