MPs from the DMK convene and adopt a resolution to bring up the delimitation issue in Parliament.

Following their Sunday meeting in Chennai, all DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) MPs agreed to bring up the delimitation procedure during Monday's Parliament session.

MK Stalin, the president of the DMK and chief minister of Tamil Nadu, presided over the meeting.

The DMK has been adamant that the current number of seats for Tamil Nadu will decrease as a result of population-based Lok Sabha seat delimitation, and they want the process to be based on the 1971 census.
