
Pune police reveals why IIT engineer killed his 3-year-old son

The Pune Police has said that the IIT Bangalore passout, who confessed to killing his 3-year-old son, was suspicious of his wife’s character. The police also added that there were frequent arguments between them. The police claim that the accused, Madhav Teketi, lived in Chandannagar with his wife, Swaroopa Teketi, who is also an engineer, and their son, Himmat. Madhav Teketi was employed as an engineer at a multinational corporation.
Swaroopa reported the incident to the Chandannagar Police Station on Thursday, claiming that her kid had vanished while with Madhav at approximately 12:30 pm. Under section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Pune Police filed a case and began an investigation. CCTV footage from the investigation showed that Madhav and Himmat had left their apartment building. But he came back alone.
