‘Such a jolly person’: Delhi woman lauds female Rapido driver for her cheerful spirit, company responds

When a Delhi resident scheduled a Rapido bike ride and was met by a female driver, her routine commute became an extraordinary experience. Smriti Sahu posted the touching story on LinkedIn, and it soon went viral, even prompting the transport company to respond. When Sahu made a ride reservation, she had just finished a shopping trip to the office. She canceled her Uber journey and decided to use Rapido instead after realizing that her driver was a woman. She later revealed that it was one of her better choices.

“Honestly, it was the best decision ever because she was absolutely entertaining. Such a jolly person! But what truly surprised me was her life story. She wasn’t just talking for the sake of it, I could tell she had been through some tough times simply by the way she appreciated every little happy moment in her life,” Sahu wrote.
