During a regular inspection at the Agartala Railway Station in Tripura, the Government Railway Police (GRP) found six abandoned bags that contained 37 kilograms of dry ganja, officials reported on Friday.

The unclaimed drugs were seized after all legal procedures were completed, and the Agartala Government Railway Police (GRP) opened an inquiry to identify the illicit consignment's owner and intended receivers. A statement from the GRP states that the recovered ganja is estimated to be worth ₹5.55 lakh on the market.

To stop the smuggling of illegal substances in the area, authorities are stepping up their efforts to track down the supply chain. They stated that more research is being done. Seven gunny bags containing 21 kg of dry ganja were found by security guards on March 12 while performing a regular check at Agartala Railway Station close to the Jirania-end bushes.
