NEW DELHI: Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh on Sunday resigned from his post, submitting his resignation letter to Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla at the Raj Bhavan in Imphal.

Singh, who led the BJP government in the state, stepped down amid ongoing political developments. His resignation comes after months of unrest and internal party discussions.
