Users across India are experiencing significant disruptions in Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions, with widespread failures reported on platforms like Google Pay, Paytm, and banking apps such as SBI's mobile services.

According to Downdetector, complaints surged in the evening, with 84% of users reporting failed payments.

Specific issues include payment failures (72% for Google Pay and 86% for Paytm), login problems, and delays in fund transfers.

The outage began late afternoon, peaking around 7 PM, and has left users frustrated as no official statement has been issued by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) regarding the cause of the technical problems.
