IRCTC case: Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi, Tejashvi Yadav seek discharge

New Delhi: at a corruption case involving alleged anomalies at the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation from 2004 to 2014, RJD president Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi, and their son Tejashvi Yadav sought a court here on Saturday to dismiss them. The three argued that the accusations against them were "false" and that the CBI's case was founded on "pick and choose" in their comments to special judge Vishal Gogn" IRCTC case Lalu Prasad"

During the arguments on the case's charge framing, the accused submitted the argument through senior advocate Maninder Singh. They have been charged with a number of offenses that carry a potential prison sentence of seven years, such as criminal conspiracy, cheating, and corruption.

In front of the judge, the three argued that the CBI's accusations against them were untrue, biased, and motivated. They also said that the central investigation agency did not have enough evidence to bring charges against them. On April 21, the case's hearing will resume. "A-1 to A-4 heard part of the arguments. The judge stated, "Put up for further submissions."
