Parents kill three children in Rajasthan, attempt suicide: Police

JODHPUR: According to police, a 35-year-old driver and his spouse poisoned their three children before making an attempt on their lives Monday night in the Phalodi district of western Rajasthan. According to police, the three children—the youngest being eight years old—died. Their parents, a 32-year-old wife and a driver for an Uttarakhand Road construction company, are receiving medical attention at the hospital.

The accused man's sister-in-law saw blood outside the house on Tuesday morning, which led to the incident's discovery. Senior authorities, including Phalodi superintendent of police (SP) Pooja Awana, hurried to the scene after she promptly raised an alarm and neighbors alerted the police.

According to the SP, the police were notified of the occurrence at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The couple was unconscious and the patio was covered in blood when the cops arrived at the residence. Their two daughters, ages five and three, and son, age nine, were discovered dead. The pair was in severe condition when they were taken to the Phalodi hospital. Later on, they were directed to Jodhpur's MDM Hospital.
