'Price hike demon government’: HD Kumaraswamy blasts Karnataka Congress over garbage cess
The Congress-led Karnataka government has come under heavy fire from Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy for enacting a waste cess in Bengaluru and for allegedly subjecting the populace to constant price increases. He compared the government to bloodsucking leeches and called it a "Price Hike Demon."
"As of today, the Congress Company government is imposing a cess even on gabage!" Kumaraswamy stated in a press statement. The blood of the people is being drained by it. He charged that the state government was misleading the public with unfulfilled promises while raising expenses steadily. This is how the Karnataka East India Congress Company is run! Under a variety of guises, they raise prices every month," he continued.
According to Kumaraswamy, the government is abusing its five assurances to justify unheard-of price increases. "Even invaders like Muhammad Ghori and Mahmud of Ghazni, who plundered India, would be ashamed of the Congress government's loot," he remarked, drawing a historical connection.
