Army personnel booked for assaulting professor in J&K’s Rajouri
Police on Friday filed a FIR against army forces who reportedly assaulted a university professor on Thursday in Lam village near the LoC in Rajouri district. "The police have registered a FIR at Nowshera police station against four to five Army personnel under Section 126(2) and 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for allegedly assaulting Liaqat Ali, an assistant professor at IGNOU," according to a law enforcement officer.
