Doctor shares common symptoms of heart blockage you should never ignore

Heart disease is one of the top causes of death worldwide, and heart blockages are frequently at the base of it. The scariest part? Many people are unaware they have a blockage until a catastrophic cardiac episode occurs. In the April 1 episode of Raj Shamani's podcast, cardiac surgeon Dr Ramakanta Panda gives important information about the most prevalent signs of heart blockage that everyone should be aware of.

When Raj questioned how to tell whether they have a heart blockage, Dr. Panda responded, "Not everyone has symptoms, but the majority of people do. However, these symptoms rarely emerge while a person is at rest, such as when sitting, speaking, or doing very little physical activity.

Even if someone has a significant blockage, the heart's requirement for blood at rest is modest, and the existing supply is frequently sufficient. That is why, despite having major obstructions, many people may not feel anything out of the ordinary while resting.
