BookMyShow removes Kunal Kamra's all content after Shiv Sena leader's letter amid 'traitor' joke row

According to reports, the internet ticketing site BookMyShow deleted all of the stand-up comedian's content on Saturday. According to India Today, it also took Kunal Kamra off of the list of artists on its website.

Rahool N. Kanal, the general secretary of the Yuva Shiv Sena, wrote to BookMyShow, requesting that the ticketing website not assist with ticket sales for Kunal Kamra's forthcoming performances. Concerns regarding Kunal Kamra's contentious remarks and their possible influence on public opinion are highlighted in the letter, which was dated April 2.

In his letter, Rahool Kanal said, "I, Rahool N Kanal, am addressing this letter in my individual capacity as a concerned citizen to bring to your attention a matter of significant public interest concerning the operations of BookMyShow." He stated, "It has come to my notice that BookMyShow has previously facilitated ticket sales for shows featuring Mr. Kunal Kamra, an individual with a documented history of habitual offensive behavior."
