Rs 1 Lakh A Day Spent on Maintenance of Arvind Kejriwal's Bungalow: BJP
Delhi, New Delhi: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva referred to former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as a “Master of Corruption” on Saturday, sharing RTI documents that allegedly show the AAP National Convenor spent Rs 29.56 crore on upkeep of his official north Delhi bungalow between March 31, 2015, and December 27, 2022.
"The frauds that Kejriwal has been committing are not going away. We would request that the Delhi government investigate how his bungalow's upkeep cost about Rs 1 lakh every day. Additionally, we aim to recover every penny," Mr. Sachdeva told IANS. He claimed that although Mr. Kejriwal has been dodging the media ever since losing the Delhi elections, he will have to deal with these difficult inquiries on corruption.
He stated, "The people of Delhi expect him to come forward and explain what exactly was so deficient in his bungalow that it required maintenance of Rs 31 lakh per month." "The royal level of upkeep that Kejriwal maintained is evident from an annual maintenance expenditure of Rs 3.69 crore on a government bungalow, or there may be corruption at play here as well," he said.
