Lucknow Bar's ultimatum: Act in 15 days or face Vidhan Sabha protest

The Lucknow Bar Association has taken a firm stance against the rising cases of corruption in the state. Issuing a 15-day ultimatum to the government, the association warned that if strict action is not taken against the accused within the given time, lawyers will march to and gherao the Vidhan Sabha.

The association has demanded a thorough investigation into the Call Detail Records (CDRs) of three senior officials and the public disclosure of their assets. They allege that these officials are involved in serious corruption, yet no concrete steps have been taken against them so far.

The Bar Association stated that if corruption is not curbed and the guilty are not punished, they will launch a statewide movement. This ultimatum has stirred political tensions in the state and increased pressure on the government to act.

This issue is no longer just about law and order—it is now a matter of public trust and transparency in the justice system. All eyes are now on the government’s next move.
