A missile attack at Tel Aviv airport caused Air India's flight to Israel to be rerouted to Abu Dhabi

On Sunday, an Air India flight headed to Tel Aviv from the nation's capital was rerouted to Abu Dhabi. Following a missile strike close to the Israeli city's Ben Gurion Airport, the flight was rerouted. According to PTI, the strike took place less than an hour before Air India aircraft AI139 was scheduled to touch down in Tel Aviv.

Flightradar24.com, a service that tracks flights, reports that the jet was redirected to Abu Dhabi when it was in Jordanian airspace. The website states that Air India has canceled its May 5 and May 6 trip from Tel Aviv to Delhi. We're waiting for an announcement from Air India. According to Israeli authorities, a missile fired from Yemen earlier today caused a brief closure of air traffic to the nation's major airport in Tel Aviv.

According to the Associated Press, police stated that following the completion of the last searches, jet travel and other airport activities were anticipated to resume. Earlier, after the missile was launched, a plume of smoke was observed rising from the area around the airport. The news agency reported that passengers could be heard screaming and rushing for safety.
