Jaishankar talks with counterparts in France, Spain, and Japan about "zero terror tolerance" following Operation Sindoor

Early on Wednesday morning, India launched military strikes on terror targets in Pakistan as part of "Operation Sindoor" in retaliation for the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives, the majority of them tourists. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had discussions with foreign ministers from Spain, France, Germany, Japan, and Qatar following Operation Sindoor.

Jaishankar conveyed India's stance on transnational terrorism and thanked them for their solidarity and support. Jaishankar discussed India's cautious approach to counterterrorism with Jose Manuel Albares, the foreign minister of Spain.
