Delhi Woman Followed After Metro Ride, Says Cop Came to Her Rescue
A Delhi woman shared a chilling experience of being followed by two men after a late-night Metro ride, and how a nearby cop's timely support ensured her safety.
A woman’s unsettling account of being followed after a late-night Metro commute in Delhi has sparked a fresh wave of concern and support online. Her message was simple but powerful: always trust your gut.
In a Reddit post that has now gone viral, the woman shared her disturbing experience of allegedly being followed after she boarded the Delhi Metro around 10pm from Rajiv Chowk station.
"I don’t usually post here, but I really needed to get this off my chest. This happened a few days ago, I was returning home from work and took the Metro around 10 PM from Rajiv Chowk," the woman said.
She wrote that she was returning home from work and didn’t expect anything unusual. But as soon as she stepped off at her destination, she noticed two men walking closely behind her.
"As soon as I got off at my station (not naming it here for safety reasons), I noticed two guys constantly behind me. At first, I thought it was nothing, maybe the same direction. But I deliberately took a detour and even crossed to the other side of the road, they still followed," she said.
She initially brushed it off, thinking they might be headed in the same direction. But even after taking a detour and switching sides of the road, the men continued to follow. That’s when the panic set in.
