Water Supply to Be Affected in Parts of Andheri and Vile Parle from June 22–28 Due to Metro-7A Work
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced on Friday that water supply in parts of Mumbai’s K-East Ward will be disrupted from June 22 to June 28 due to ongoing Metro-7A project work.
As per the official release, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will be conducting tunnel excavation under the 1,800-mm diameter Veravali reservoir canal near Bamanwada in Andheri (East) using a tunnel-boring machine. This project, part of the Metro-7A line, will affect water distribution in surrounding areas.

Vile Parle (East):
⏰ Low-pressure water supply between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM
Old Nagardas Marg, New Nagardas Marg, Mograpada, Andheri-Kurla Marg
(stretch from Andheri Station to Western Express Highway):
⏰ Low-pressure water supply between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM
The BMC urges residents to store sufficient water in advance and use it judiciously during this period.
Water Supply to Be Disrupted in Parts of Andheri, Vile Parle from June 22–28 Due to Metro Work
Water supply in several parts of Vile Parle (East) and the stretch from Andheri Station to the Western Express Highway — including Old Nagardas Marg, New Nagardas Marg, Mograpada, and Andheri-Kurla Marg — will be affected by low pressure for a week, from Sunday, June 22 to Saturday, June 28, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced on Friday.
The disruption is due to ongoing excavation work for the Mumbai Metro-7A project, which involves tunneling under the operational 1,800-mm Veravali reservoir canal using a tunnel-boring machine near Bamanwada in Andheri East, within the K-East Ward.

The BMC has advised residents to store water in advance and use it carefully during this period.
