Bengaluru Gears Up for Rainy Days; Here's Karnataka's Full Weather Forecast

Bengaluru is likely to witness rain and strong winds today, according to forecasts by the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC). Moderate rainfall is expected in several districts, including Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Mandya, Mysuru, Chikkaballapura, and Kolar.

Coastal Karnataka on Alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy to very heavy rainfall alert for the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, and Udupi. Gusty winds reaching 40–50 kmph are also expected at isolated locations in these regions.

North Interior Karnataka to See Heavy Showers

Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds (50–60 kmph) are predicted in Belagavi. Bidar and Kalaburagi are also likely to receive heavy rainfall, while Dharwad is expected to see light to moderate rain with occasional wind gusts.

Red Alert for Kodagu

A red alert has been issued for Kodagu district, forecasting extremely heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and wind speeds of up to 60 kmph. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated through official weather bulletins.
