Jammu-Srinagar NHW partly open; Kishtwar-Sinthan route reopens for travel
Srinagar, July 23 – Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) has been partially restored, officials confirmed on Tuesday. Efforts are currently underway to clear stranded vehicles between the Nashri stretch and the NAVYUG Tunnel.
In a statement to Greater Kashmir, an official said, “Traffic movement has resumed in parts, and we are working to clear all vehicles stuck along the route.”
Additionally, traffic on the Kishtwar-Sinthan road has also been restored, offering relief to commuters affected by recent disruptions. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure smooth vehicular movement across both key routes.
