Mumbai: HDB Financial Services debuted on the stock exchanges Wednesday at ₹835 on the NSE, marking a 13% premium over its issue price of ₹740. The stock ended the day slightly higher at ₹840.25, up 0.6%.
The ₹12,500 crore IPO included a fresh issue of ₹2,500 crore and an offer for sale of ₹10,000 crore by HDFC Bank. HDB’s IPO stands out as the most subscribed billion-dollar offering since Zomato’s 2021 listing and is the largest IPO by a non-banking financial company (NBFC) to date.
