ICAI CA May 2025 Results Declared: Over 14,000 Students Qualify as Chartered Accountants
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the CA May 2025 examinations for all three levels—Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. A total of 2.1 lakh candidates appeared across all levels, reflecting the growing interest and competitiveness in the Chartered Accountancy profession.
CA Final Results 2025: Over 14,000 Students Become Chartered Accountants
In the highly challenging CA Final exam, 14,247 students successfully earned the prestigious Chartered Accountant designation. Conducted in three categories—Group I, Group II, and Both Groups—the exams saw the following results:
Group I: 66,943 appeared; 14,979 passed (22.38% pass rate)
Group II: 46,173 appeared; 12,204 passed (26.43%)
Both Groups: 29,286 appeared; 5,490 passed (18.75%)
Topper: Rajan Kabra from Mumbai secured All India Rank 1 with 516/600 (86%), followed by Nishtha Bothra from Kolkata (503 marks), and Manav Rakesh Shah from Mumbai (493 marks).
CA Intermediate Results 2025: High Competition, Strong Performances
Group I: 97,034 appeared; 14,232 passed (14.67%)
Group II: 72,069 appeared; 15,502 passed (21.51%)
Both Groups: 38,029 appeared; 5,028 passed (13.22%)
Topper: Disha Ashish Gokhru from Mumbai scored 513/600 (85.5%). She was followed by Devidan Yash Sandeep (503 marks), and Yamish Jain (Jaipur) and Nilay Dangi (Udaipur) who tied for third with 502 marks.
CA Foundation Results 2025: 12,747 Students Qualify Nationwide
Out of 82,662 candidates who appeared for the Foundation exam across 551 centres, a total of 12,747 students qualified—7,056 male and 5,418 female candidates. The overall pass percentage stood at 15.09% (Males: 16.26%, Females: 13.80%).
Topper: Vrinda Agarwal from Ghaziabad led the results with 362/400 (90.5%), followed by Yadnesh Rajesh Narkar (359 marks) and Shardul Shekhar Vichare (358 marks).
The May 2025 exam cycle highlights not only academic brilliance but also the growing footprint of CA talent from cities like Mumbai, Ghaziabad, Jaipur, and Udaipur. With more than 14,000 new CAs, the ICAI continues to shape India’s financial leadership.
