Five Chinese items are subject to anti-dumping duties in India

Throughout the month, India has placed anti-dumping duties on five Chinese products, including vacuum flasks and aluminum foil, in an effort to protect domestic companies from low-cost imports.

These charges were imposed because the five products—poly vinyl chloride paste resin, aluminum foil, trichloro isocyanuric acid, soft ferrite cores, and a specific thickness of vacuum-insulated flask—were being imported from China at lower-than-normal prices.

The action follows suggestions for duty imposition from the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), the investigation arm of the Union Commerce Ministry.
