1971 Indo-Pak war navy hero TS Khurana passes away

Commodore TS Khurana (retd), who was awarded the Nao Sena Medal for planning and executing Operations Trident and Python as part of the Indian Navy’s attacks on Karachi during the Indo-Pak war in December 1971, passed away in Chandigarh on Thursday. He was 91 and is survived by daughter Dr Maleeka Sachdev and son Karan Khurana.
The prayer meeting will be held at Sector 8 gurdwara from 3pm to 4pm on January 26, according to his son-in-law and well-known cardiologist Dr Vinnie Sachdev.
