An Indian student at Georgetown University was arrested in the United States for "antisemitism" and "spreading Hamas propaganda" on social media.

According to the student's attorney, the Donald Trump administration is attempting to deport Badar Khan Suri because it believes he poses a threat to US foreign policy.

According to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security, Fox News reported on Thursday that Badar Khan Suri, an Indian student at Georgetown University in Washington, had been arrested by US President Donald Trump's administration for allegedly having connections to the Palestinian militant group Hamas and disseminating its propaganda on social media.
