Kangana Ranaut on demolition over Kunal Kamra's Eknath Shinde joke: "This is legal, mine wasn't."

Kangana Ranaut, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), questioned comedian Kunal Kamra's controversy on Tuesday, asking "what are the credentials" of those who disparage and criticize someone "for two minutes of fame."

During his stand-up performance of a well-known Hindi song from the movie "Dil Toh Pagal Hai," comedian Kunal Kamra sparked controversy by seemingly calling Shinde a "gaddar" (traitor). In addition, he joked about current political events in Maharashtra, such as the schism between the NCP and Shiv Sena.

Kangana Ranaut defended the legal demolition of the hotel where the performance was shot, but she also claimed that the demolition of her villa was unlawful. Officials from Mumbai's civic organization, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, visited the looted location and reported that they had destroyed a temporary building in the hotel's open area.
