Meerut murder: ‘She has lost right to live’, woman's parents seek death penalty

Muskaan Rastogi's parents want their daughter to be hanged. Rastogi is the lady who killed her husband with the aid of her lover, then chopped up his body parts and sealed them into a drum. Muskan's mother Kavita Rastogi told NDTV that her daughter came to meet her parents after returning from Shimla.

Her mother claims that Muskan admitted to killing Saurabh. With Muskaan, Saurabh was "blindly in love." The issue was our daughter. She managed to keep him away from his relatives. The mother told NDTV, "And she has now done this." The body of Saurabh Rajput, who vanished on March 4, was reportedly dismembered and sealed inside a cement drum after he was fatally murdered by his wife and her partner.

The Rastogis said they got Muskan arrested and offered their son-in-law's family support. "Justice ought to be served to them. Saurabh risked everything and abandoned his parents' crore-valued house. She also got him killed. Kavita Rastogi told NDTV, "He was also our son."
