Police say a Delhi guy who befriended a British tourist on Instagram sexually assaulted her.

According to news agency ANI, two men allegedly gang-raped a British woman at a hotel in Mahipalpur, Delhi. The victim was friends with Kailash, one of the defendants, on Instagram. The Delhi Police have arrested both suspects and informed the British High Commission about the incident.

In a Delhi hotel in Mahipalpur, a guy was taken into custody on suspicion of raping a British woman. According to a police statement, his accomplice was taken into custody on molestation accusations.

"The woman traveled from the UK to Delhi to see the man with whom she had become acquaintances on social media. The British High Commission has also been informed about the incident, police said.
